The API is in early access and is under active development.

The Tabula API connects your systems to a Tabula company. Every request acts on the company that owns the API key.

Who is this for

Developers who connect a company's own software to Tabula, such as an ERP, an invoicing tool or a document archive. Accounting firms do the same for their clients, with one API key per client company.

Base URL

https://api.tabula.de/v1

Conventions

  • Authentication: every request sends the company's API key as a bearer token. See Authentication.
  • JSON: field names are camelCase and timestamps are ISO 8601 in UTC.
  • Versioning: the major version is part of the path. Within v1, changes are additive only: new endpoints and new optional fields, never removals or renames.
  • Request IDs: every response includes a Request-Id header. Please include it when you contact support@tabula.de.
  • Errors: each error includes a stable code your integration can rely on. See Errors.
